Nvidia GeForce Now is the gaming streaming service. It allows you to stream Windows PC games that you already own on Steam, Ubisoft, Epic and more to hardware that may not be able to support running the game natively. Hardware like a Mac Mini for example. I bought a Mac Mini earlier this year. While it is not my primary gaming console. Xbox, Nintendo and my gaming PC are. It is nice to be able to play a game at night while on a different floor. Nvidia GeForce accomplishes that goal exactly. Nvidia GeForce Now allows me to stream Among Us, Battlefield 4, Crysis Remastered, Half Life 2, Life is Strange, Life is Strange Before the Storm, Life is Strange Remastered Collection, MechWarrior 5, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Need for Speed: Heat, Portal, Portal 2, Redout, Rocket League, Splitgate, Supreme Commander 2, Supreme Comander, Supreme Commander Forged Allliance, Team Fortress 2, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2 and even more games that I do not own. Personally, I have played Watch Dogs and MechWarrior 5 of the games I own on my Apple Mac Mini M1. Plus, the greatest part is it is completely free to play for 1 hour gaming sessions. Definitely worth it for me to play the occasional gaming session on my Apple Mac Mini M1. All you need is an Nvidia GeForce Account. You do not even have to own an Nvidia GeForce Graphics Card. There are additional paid Tiers. The Priority Tier gets you 1080p gaming at 60 Frames Per Second (FPS) and 6 hour gaming sessions. The RTX 3080 Tier (name subject to change when the next Nvidia GeForce graphics card that replaces the 3080 comes out probably) gets you 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) at up to 120 Frames Per Second (FPS) and 8 hour gaming sessions. For complete current pricing visit the link below in the Resources section please. Go try out Nvidia GeForce Now game streaming either with your existing library or a free to play game! I am blown away at the quality being offered for free!

Summer 2022

Summer time time for the sailing the Sunfish sailboats and sunscreen. Hot days and sometimes cool nights. Fridge cooled Kevita Probiotic Strawberry Acai Coconut or Ginger Colada (Pina Colada). Time to get outside walking at night before sunset/dusk. However, time to clear the gaming backlog. Believe me the backlog is always there to fill the void between new games. Time to research the new games coming out. Paying for those video games is another question? Definitely have my eye on games upcoming and new announcements. Xbox Bethesda was June 12, 2022. Not a lot of new. Then again there is a COVID-19 pandemic still going on. I believe that delayed a lot of game developers and put them behind schedule. Perhaps working remote and not having the game development team in the office? Maybe GamesCom will have new announcements? Time to stay cool underground with the air conditioning on. Turn up the music and karaoke on Xbox! Xbox is the primary console I play on. Simple to install games, load games, multiplayer and Xbox Live Party Chat. PC is not as simple with 3rd party voice chat solutions. Getting better with voice integrated games. Nintendo Switch basically is non-existent voice chat because Nintendo decided to not build it into the console except 3rd party games. Games like Fortnite on Nintendo Switch get access to 3rd party voice chat. Nintendo 1st party games like Mario, Pokemon and more do not have it integrated into the console. Instead Nintendo still has their Nintendo Switch Companion App on Apple iOS and Google Android apps. I do not want to burn my phone battery to voice chat. Sorry Nintendo poor implementation! Chilling with The Best Friends Forever on Xbox. Summer is what I live for! Maybe because I love hot and air conditioning and gaming! Summer meant free time as a kid to play even more video games! Today I have a little money and plenty of video games in the backlog. Working a little towards cleaning out the backlog.

Fall Guys The Best Free to Play of Summer 2022

Fall Guys is the anticipated and hyped new free to play (FTP) game! Fall Guys is best described as a platformer where you try not to fall off and stay alive. Compete against 60 online players in the Battle Royal. It feels like Wipeout on ABC or America Ninja Warrior on NBC on television. It is fun fast paced action that does not take it self serious. It is funny blobs of characters. That is what makes it fun. The environments are colorful. Again similar to the real world Wipeout show. The music is playful. It makes you want to keep playing round after round. There are customization options free you unlock when you play rounds or win.

I personally play on Xbox. The Xbox achievements and the controller. Then again, I mostly only play games on Xbox. However, Fall Guys is available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Fall Guys is best enjoyed with friends. Friends that you can celebrate the qualifying rounds. Make it to the final round and then unfortunately lose because someone got the Crown first or the falling tiles one where you did not survive. There may be final other rounds however those are the two I have experienced.

Available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Epic Games on Windows 10 and 11.

 2022 Games Playing

I have been playing Battlefield 2042 which came out November 2021. I have really enjoying playing with my friend Fated. I bought it for him and it has really been a great partnership playing together. He motivates to play Battlefield. I am grateful for that. Also, Need for Speed: Heat with Fated. Racing the police in epic Heat Level 5 pursuits around the race track near the Safehouse/Garage at night. Halo Infinite we have played multiplayer. However, waiting for cooperative campaign hopefully August 2022. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Call to Arms (Downloadable Content (DLC)) is the third (3rd) DLC to drop for the game. Mech and I play that. I bought it for him (compensated). Splitgate the free to play shooter Fated and I play from time to time. It is fun. The Division 2 Warlords of New York (DLC) expansion Fated and I finished back in March 2022. Took down Aaron Keener! A certain Faye Lau is not who she claims she is. Dead or Alive 6 finished another achievement for complete 50 ranked wins it was long overdue.

Work in progress...

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate became the best value over the past few years. I joined after receiving a contest code off Xbox Live's Major Nelson (Larry Hyrb). Then, I started paying for it. Playing the latest games since 2017 like Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon and Halo Master Chief Collection or Halo Infinite. Xbox Live Gold, Xbox GamePass,  Electronic Arts EA Play (formerly EA Access) including Battlefield, The Sims, Need for Speed and more. Plus, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Game Pass for PC Windows 10 now Windows 11. I never have been able to get games to install on my Windows 10 PC despite exceeding the minimum and reccomended system requirements. I play all of my Xbox Game Pass games on Xbox One then Xbox One X now turned Xbox Series X. Feels like yesterday when I joined Xbox 360 October 27, 2009.

Xbox Project Scarlet became Xbox Series X. Released November 15, 2020. Availability was hard to find due to the COVID-19 pandemic that started February 2020. However, now in 2022 it is easier to find an Xbox Series X. Though they are not sitting on store shelves always. Ordering online when in stock is the best option. I got mine through Best Buy website December 2021. I enjoy the new faster processing power and games. Games are starting to only be available on Xbox Series X. Yes, there is Xbox Series S. However, in 2022 if you are not using 4K/Ultra High Definition then you are missing out. Also, games prices are going to $69.99 or $10 more dollars. Xbox 360 and Xbox One games stayed at $59.99 United States Dollars. It has been awhile since they were $49.99 in the non High Definition (HD) world.

Back again. Been away for awhile. Getting back to work updating the blog with new gaming news.
