Happy New Year 2016 and Look Back on 2015 :)

It is hard to believe that it is already January 2016!
Another whole year of gaming awesomeness has passed! 2015 was a great year because on July 17, 2015 that is when JPSHRACERGAMING launched. It was a quiet launch however now it is time to launch for real. I have been tweeting on Twitter @JPSHRACERGAMING this past year. In 2016 I want to blog using Word Press more frequently. Enough about the technical details, let us get to the fun stuff, games! YouTube will be a continued work in progress.
Mainly my console of choice has been Microsoft Xbox One. The brand new releases in 2015 were The Elder Scrolls Online, Halo 5, Need For Speed (2015), Star Wars Battlefront on Xbox One. Star Wars Battlefront quickly became the best multiplayer and the one I keep playing. I was catching up earning achievements with friends over Halo 3 ODST, Halo 4, Halo Combat Evolved. I also played Kinect Adventures and Dance Central 3 for achievements and exercise. EA Access allowed me to play games 5 days early before release date like Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, Madden NFL 16 or Star Wars Battlefront for up to 10 hours. I played Minecraft Xbox One edition throughout the year and getting lost for hours at a time with friends was the best. Going back to Watch Dogs was fun to play the hacking multiplayer. Microsoft introduced backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games. This means certain Xbox 360 games are available on Xbox One. This included Mirror’s Edge which I was working on going back for achievements. Now that most everyone is on next generation there are more friends to play with.
Last year 2015 was the start of brand new experiences and the return to Nintendo. It started with the Nintendo 2DS back in March. This also meant the return to Pokemon with Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. The Eon Ticket which allowed you to catch both Latias and Latios in the same game was offered as a download. This heavily influenced my decision to get both games immediately. I also picked up Pokemon X and Y to follow the Pokemon TV show. Then just last month in December introduced the Nintendo Wii U. The Wii U gamepad offers the second screen experience with a tablet controller. Super Mario Maker became a quick classic with the ability to create your own Mario levels. Splatoon is Nintendo’s ink splattering take on a first person shooter. Mario Kart 8, New Super Mario Bros U and Mario Party 10 are other great exclusives.
Looking ahead 2016 should be another great gaming year! Looking forward to all the great games! Keep reading Twitter for the absolute up to the moment information and this blog for frequent details.
